If your app is hosted under Locatify's developer accounts, send us your screenshots directly in a zip file — our team will upload them on your behalf.
Requirements by Platform
1. App Store (iOS) — required
Upload at least 3 screenshots in the following formats:
- iPhone 6.9" display or iPhone 6.5" display
- iPad Pro 13" or iPad Pro (2nd Gen) 12.9" display
Upload the screenshots in your App Store Connect account. To do so, navigate to your Apple Connect account, go to the Distribution tab in the left-side menu and click on the build under Prepare for Submission>Previews and Screenshots.
2. Play Store (Android) — required
Upload a minimum of 2 phone screenshots. Screenshots must be PNG or JPEG, up to 8MB each, 16:9 or 9:16 aspect ratio, with each side between 320px and 3,840px.
Tablet screenshots (Android) — optional
- Up to eight 7-inch tablet screenshots — PNG or JPEG, up to 8MB each, 16:9 or 9:16 aspect ratio, each side between 320px and 3,840px.
- Up to eight 10-inch tablet screenshots — PNG or JPEG, up to 8MB each, 16:9 or 9:16 aspect ratio, each side between 1,080px and 7,680px.
Upload the screenshots in your Google Play Console account. Navigate to Grow users → Store presence → Store listings, then scroll down to Edit Default Store Listing.
While there is a minimum requirement for the screenshots, we recommend uploading at least 5 per platform — this gives users a clearer picture of what your app offers, and is common practice among published apps.
Screenshots — Your Options
For screenshots, you can either:
- Upload standard screenshots, or
- Enhance them with colors, text, and branding elements — optional, based on your preference.
Want to add text and colors to your screenshots?
There are multiple services you can use online, we recommend AppScreens — professional-looking screenshots for both iOS and Android, one-time fee of €24 for 30 days' access.
iOS and Android screenshots cannot be converted from one to the other — both stores require their own dedicated screenshots.
Using AppScreens: You can convert screenshots between different iPhone sizes, but not from iPhone to iPad — these will be rejected by the App Store. If you don't have access to an iPad, let us know — we can take the screenshots using our simulator.
