If you want to hide treasure locations from the map, you have 2 options:
1. “Hide Pin” feature in Point Activation: used for random hidden location
If you are using “Hide pin until the user has visited the location” to specific waypoints and if you have set your game to automatic triggering, in the app, the point’s content will be hidden until you are physically close to it (in the range of the activation radius you have set). The pin/location with its content will only be revealed once you are in the activation radius.
To use this feature, click on the point you wish to add it, then "Activation" and select "Hide pin until the user has visited the location".
2. Connect Pins Tool: used to hide the treasure locations from the map and have players find them in sequential order, using the optional clues.
If you want to hide the treasure locations from the map and have players find them in sequential order, connect them together with the Connect Pins Tool. This connection line will not be displayed visually to your players. This means that treasures will appear while playing the game. They are hidden to begin with and only appear on the map when a specific other treasure is found first. For example, the player sees the treasure placed at the parking lot and once there, the connected treasure placed at the monument will appear. To do so, connect the parking lot pin to the monument pin with the Connect Pins Tool. Click on the pin you want to be the first in line and then click the next one you want it to be connected to. When you do this, a line will be drawn between the two treasure pins. This means that the treasure you are connecting with (the second pin you click) will be the next one a player has to go to after he has captured the previous one (the first pin you clicked). The game has cyclic routes, players cannot visit the same point twice (for example, you cannot connect your last pin location to the first). If the pins are not connected, they will all be visible on the player’s map and the player can find the treasures in any order they prefer.
You can click on the connection line to add a hint to help players discover the next location or to disconnect the pins.
To delete the connection line, click on the line and select "Delete line".
If you however want to give your players a visual path to follow on the map, use the Create Path Tool
