The Connect Pins tool lets you control the order in which players visit locations in your game or tour.
By connecting pins, you create a step-by-step path where each location is revealed only after the previous one has been reached. This helps you guide players through a controlled experience instead of letting them explore freely.
How it works
- Only the first connected pin is visible on the player’s map at the start.
- The next location stays hidden until the current one is completed.
- Each new pin is revealed only after the previous one has been reached.
- The connection lines are not visible to players, only to you as the creator.
How to use it
- Click on the pin you want players to visit first.
- Then click the next pin in the sequence.
- A line will appear between the two pins, defining the order.
- Repeat this process to build your full route.
Important rules
- Each point can only be used once — loops or repeated connections are not allowed.
- Players should not be guided to the same location more than once.
- If pins are not connected, all locations will appear on the map and players can visit them in any order.
Adding hints or editing connections
- Click on a connection line to:
- Add a hint for the next location, or
- Disconnect the pins if needed.
- To remove a connection completely, select the line and click “Delete line.”
Example
A player first sees a pin at the parking lot. After reaching it, the next pin at the monument is revealed automatically. This creates a guided discovery experience.
Tip
If you want players to see a visible route on the map, use the Create Path Tool instead of Connect Pins.
