Locatify apps support two distinct types of language: content language and interface (UI) language. Understanding the difference helps you plan your app's translations correctly.
Content language
This is the language of your game or tour itself — the actual text, audio, and descriptions users experience as they play or explore (e.g., a stop description, a narrated audio clip, a quiz question). Content can be added in multiple languages, and it's up to you, the publisher, to provide translations for each language you want to support.
Supported content languages: Arabic, Audio description for visually impaired, Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Estonian, Faroese, Finnish, French, German, German sign language, Hebrew, Icelandic, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Luxembourgish, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and Ukrainian.
Interface (UI) language
This is the language of the apps itself — buttons, menus, pop-ups, and other navigational elements, separate from your tour or game content. The UI language automatically matches the user's device settings; it isn't something users select manually within the app.
Supported UI languages: Arabic, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Icelandic, Italian, Japanese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Slovak, and Swedish.
